Here’s a Poem I just finished writing. It’s called Duration. I hope you all enjoy.
Desire of the heart
Can’t beat the switch
Once it is turned off
All just an illness
Edge of a blade
Balanced carousel
Money pays
Sign of morals?
A range of prospects
And hedging bets
With bleaker hopes
A hunger to cope
Wow I just realised I haven’t posted on here in quite a while. I apologise to anyone who has enjoyed so far, life just got a bit hectic for a moment there! Anyway, enough of that. I have a new poem to share tonight. It’s a short little something which I wrote this evening and felt it could be good to share with everyone/anyone. 😄
“A very deep heart
A head full of dreams
It can get dark
But that doesn’t mean
What’s in our thoughts
We can’t achieve
Who’s to say
What life could bring
If you quit today
What could you be missing?”

A rock, however strong, finds
Resistance against the current futile
A persistent sign
Pointing to the inescapable dial
A constant reminder exists
Calling to say we can try to avoid it
But our times will eventually come

Hi, I’m Ash. I’ve decided to start a blog as a way to share my thoughts, and additionally some of my more creative side, with anyone who wants to read and gain insight really. I will share views on a variety of subjects and hopefully in time I will have other people contributing too! I already have a few of my favourite people in mind who I’d love to feature in my blog! I enjoy writing poetry and have done for quite a while now. I hope that I can extend my creativity to writing interesting and entertaining posts on a various topics through poetry or essays mainly. Most of all I hope any and all my viewers enjoy what I post!
